I had the Rich and Famous Roll. What a great choice. Spicy Tuna roll with crab salad on top. And a splash of hot sauce on top of that. It was awesome.

What can I say about Juno's??? We have been coming here since the day he opened, and any time we return to town for more than 12 hours we always come back. IMO this is the best sushi in town. Juno always uses fresh ingredients and takes his time when making then rolls. I had my staple rolls (Cowboy, Surf and Turf and Dragon) as well as a cucumber salad. As always he didn't disappoint with my rolls and they were as flavorful as always! The others at the table ordered rolls and a few other items from the menu that also came out quickly and as always had great flavor and smell. This has always been our favorite and we will continue to come back here anytime we return to the area! If you are in town and want great Sushi or Korean you absolutely must come here as any other just won't stack up!

They always prepare everything from fresh, quality ingredients. Very friendly and often entertaining service. I've never had anything from here that I was not happy with. Give them a try and I think you will agree.

Really good sushi!!! Doesn't look fancy at all. Very fresh sashimi and tasty rolls. All perfectly prepared. Don't drive by this jewel. Lots of locals.

I chose this location based on the overall score. How ever I was extremely disappointed. I ordered edamame, some tuna and salmon nigiri, along with a simple rainbow roll and a shrimp tempura roll. These rolls are my staples when I have never been to a restaurant before. The edamame was old and tough not very hot. The sushi and the rolls were not good either. The seaweed on the shrimp roll was so tough I had to spit the majority of it out. The nigiri had no flavor except for the wasabi which was way too much for my tastes. The only reason they are getting 2 stars is for the service which was good. Over all my recommendation is eat someplace else.

Food was alright. Service was also alright. They need more than 2 servers on a busy night. My girlfriend also thought food was just mediocre.

  • Jennie B.

Fantastic sushi, sashimi and nigiri! Seaweed salad, edamame and miso soup were great. Service was very friendly. The owner himself made our sushi. :-) The only area I see room for improvement in is the ambiance--there currently isn't any. Better lighting and music (instead of TVs), in particular, would add a tremendous amount to this place. We will be back regardless because the fresh fish is worth it!

Well the food was ok... but the price was high for the quality. This place is known for sushi so we should have stayed with that. The side of scallops (11.99!) was undercooked and tasteless. Additionally they did not take the time to wash the sand out of them.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. The two ladies that were there were so not only not attentive and rude but also didn't even know how to manicure our table (even though we stacked the plates and trash for them). That being said you do have to expect that at every sushi place. Which is kind of nice because you can expect to tip only 10%. I just think good service is important. On top of all that the only two servers in the empty restaurant also happened to give me an extra bowl of soup and charged me for it. That being said out of the Green Wasabi, Kiku Hana, and Bamboo they have the best egg drop soup. They're Volcano was alright with some fresh topping. I like the Panko crust they put in it. All the other rolls weren't amazing that we had and neither was their fried rice. Their Spicy Shasimi Salad had great flavor sand the chum from the sushi that wasn't cut right but the thing I hate the most is salads with iceberg lettuce. Raise the price by a few bucks because a perfectly good salad was absolutely disgusting because of the pre-salad mix you tossed with amazing pieces of seafood and awesome sauce.

In town for business, I was craving sushi. Relying on Yelp I chose Juno's and was not disappointed. I had a sushi roll combo platter and was very pleased. The rice was perfectly prepared and not overly dry like some places. The fish, fish eggs, shrimp, etc were very fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend Juno's!

  • Chelsea W.

GREAT sashimi and fresh sushi. I ordered a glass of wine and it came in a small Woodbridge bottle... Needless to say, this isn't a place to come for a great wine list or fun cocktails. However, as someone who likes real sushi (not a million variations of a California roll or something with steak or fried chicken) this place is great. I love that you can order sashimi by the plate, I will most definitely be back!

  • Terra B.

I have never had a sushi roll here that I regretted. They are made with extreme care and super fresh ingredients. The chef is very friendly and accommodating. Some staff are a little sassy but in an endearing playful manner. One of my favorite places to go, and hands down the best sushi place I have been in Florida.

    (5)
  • Lee H.

The waitress's are so friendly and funny. I have been coming here for years. The gentlemen show makes the sushi will talk to you while he is making the sushi and make fun of you if you are not willing to go outside of your comfort zone as to try something like Eel or sashimi. The sushi is so delicious and so is the Miso soup. My go to sushi place :)

  • Kris O.

Went here for lunch on a Friday. Ordered a couple rolls and they were fine. The service was friendly and prompt. Overall, the place isn't bad at all, I just didn't think it was anything spectacular, either. Give it a try, you may feel different.

I know this is a bold statement, but...Juno serves the best sushi in town, by far. I am going to miss this place so much when we move!! Everything we have ever gotten, during our frequent trips in the last 3 years, has been fresh and served quickly...even when the restaurant is busy. The dining room is always clean & the serving staff is really friendly. HIGHLY recommend the Destin roll & the Super Tiger roll.

Now don't get me wrong, I love a good sushi binge as much as the next guy. It's just that, well, I'm a spoiled asshole when it comes to sushi and this place is not authentic Japanese. Few places outside of LA, SF, Hawaii, and NYC have authentic Japanese restaurants though, and we are in the middle of NOWHERE. At least the server was Korean. He did not have much of a sense of humor. My friend got the "chicken and steaken," as our server calls it. When I made a joke about it, he remained stoic. Either didn't get it or was not amused. Either way, hahahahahaha. CHICKEN AND STEAKEN!! I got the oyakodon, chicken/egg over rice. You can't mess this up and it was average. The space is large but dark and gloomy and has that old carpet old people restaurant smell, like the diners back home that give senior citizen discounts.

Revised my 4 start rating. After living here for over 5 years and trying everyone's recommendation from P'cola to Destin, Juno's is my favorite sushi place around here. I have never been disappointed at Juno's. Juno know his fish; the sashimi great and the specialty rolls are money. Try out the Red Dragon roll, little on the pricy side but it's big and worth it! Hands down Juno's is the best in the area.

  • Alvira K.

Was a little skeptical about this place at first but decided to try it anyways. We got a few sushi rolls, fried rice, and a cup of soup. The fried rice is AMAZING! Sooo good! Sushi was alright honesty. The fried shrimp in one of the rolls tasted like it was old. The soup was alright too. 3 stars.

Good mix of Asian food, well executed! Wife loves the sushi. This place achieves the food quality the Okinawa restaurant fails to. Maybe not the most upscale interior, but certainly family friendly and not a "hole in the wall".

been spoiled by CA sushi, but this sushi place is something i can get use to. with all my sushi, i always ask for a side of siracha and i mix it with wasabi, eaten with ginger. favorite rolls here are red dragon, super tiger and salmon nigiri. their salmon is very fresh and meaty. the owner, Juno is fun to talk to.

  • Jen N.

I love their sushi. It's really good if you're in it for the Nigiri or sashimi because it's super fresh and the cut of the fish is pretty generous. They also have other typical Japanese fried food, steak, and Korean food. For the quality and the cut of the fish, it's worth the money. About the server, I admit that they're not friendliest or most chatty people, but as long as they're not rude, I don't mind :)

I'm a guy sometimes I get hungry. At 430 in the afternoon I decided I want that taste of ginger and rice...and sushi. So alone I venture into the world of yelp to find a sushi joint near me. I land at Juno's. I'm the only one in there. TVs are playing. Ac feels good. Place is nice inside. I'm greeted I turn down a menu and just order a water and two rolls. My rolls come out no one bothers me. The rolls are big. Nicely rolled. Nice fresh ginger. Soy sauce. I'm watching the weather channel as the north east is getting pounded by snow and I'm in flip flops a dirty shirt from working on my boat and now a full belly. This place was great and it was simple for a guy who just wanted to fill his belly :) go there really you ll enjoy it. I ll come back for dinner

I miss the west coast!!!! deffinetly not up to par, I would think this being a beach area there would be at least a few decent sushi joints with fresh savorful fish. I ordered the seaweed salad it was ok until you reached all the moisture at the bottom, the rainbow roll which I would expect tastful fresh fish, the tuna spicy spicy roll which was not spicy at all and doucced in spicy mayo no flavor what so ever. Tried the conch sashimi which was crunchy and had no flavor at all, didnt even finish our meal please if anyone has good taste for great sushi please post.

In my quest to find the best sashimi around, since this is a local place, I have been to this particular place a number of times since it has been opened. I have never found sashimi to be consistent. It has ranged from being served frozen pieces of sashimi, to fishy smelling sashimi, to very fresh. It maybe good or it maybe bad...it is just a chance. The one thing which is consistent is the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. If you like watching blaring TV's while trying to enjoy your meal then this is the place. However if it bothers you, the staff will turn down the volume for the TV closest to you if no other customers mind. The sushi chef seems preoccupied with the TV as he constantly monitors the TV while preparing your meals. This could be why his knife skills suffer or your sushi/sashimi is not always consistent. Also, the sushi chef even though he is nice and friendly, will reprimand his staff right there in front of you while he is preparing your dish. Take it to the kitchen or out back sushi chef. This is not for customers. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about because it has been renovated to make it from a McDonald's to a Cell Phone Company to an Optometrist Office to a restaurant. I have eaten Sushi & Sashimi just about everywhere in this area, and Juno's is about as good as it gets. My favorite is the spice volcano Roll. My Wife usually orders the Sushi and I get the Chef's choice Sashimi. Family run business with nice atmosphere, everyone in there is always very friendly and service is much quicker than a lot of other places. This is a MUST TRY for everyone !

Very good sushi! Best of all our bill wasn't over $20! Not sure how we did that because alcohol was also involved. No complaints here on the price of the food and alcohol. The fish was fresh. The sushi's good and the price is right - the $15 sampler is about enough for two but I've seen a guy finish a whole one himself. The sushi rolls are inventive and there are a lot to choose from. My friend and I ordered a second tuna and bacon roll because we like it so much. One downside - no beer on tap.

My friend, Dave, was in the mood for sushi and we found Juno's. When we sat down at the sushi bar and looked at the menu I was delighted to see that they also offered Korean food. It's not extensive b/c they're a sushi place but they had chicken, beef, and pork bulgogi and beef kalbi. I had the chicken bulgogi and it was pretty good. A lot better than "Kim Kitchen" down the road. My friend, Dave, loved the sushi. The chef was fun to talk to and the staff was very attentive to our needs. I'll be hitting Juno's up frequently for sushi AND Korean.

Great sushi at a great price. The place is clean & the service is friendly. We've been there several times now. Just tried the crab salad for the first time today. OMG, it was great! It's called salmon salad at other places, but it was by far the best here.

    (5)
  • Shawn T.

Pretty good. A little on the "saucy" side but still tasty sushi. I had the volcano roll and my wife had the geisha roll. I preferred mine. We also had edamame egg drop soup and fried gyoza. All of it was pretty good.

  • Amanda F.

This is my favorite place to get sushi in Fort Walton Beach! The service is great. The servers are attentive. The sushi is delicious! The only thing I don't like on the menu is the Cowboy Roll, but I don't like steak in my sushi anyway. Every other roll I have ordered from there has been nothing less than spectacular! I'm not sure if they take reservations, but I have never had a problem getting a table. Good food, good service, good price! Can't beat it!

    (5)
  • Lea N.

I used to be a devoted customer of the place down the street... but I have a new fav in town! The sushi is made to perfection.... and the sashimi is the freshest in FWB (in my opinion). And by the way... at HALF the price of the other sushi places in FWB.

  • Levi T.

Low key but good sushi. Got the food out fast.

    (4)
  • J L.

Not bad. Crunchy tuna roll was my favorite. I recommend the beef bulgogi. Comes with miso soup, rice, kimchi, and cucumber kimchi. The serving sizes are small for those little extras. When ever I go to a restaurant that serves korean food, the sides usually have larger servings. If you're hungry, this meal would probably not satisfy. I am very picky with kimchi, and theirs is not bad at all.

I went to Juno's tonight after reading the comments of other reviewers. I was not disappointed. The service was excellent and prices were on par with other sushi restaurants. My tab was $22 for Miso soup, Squid Salad, a Destin Roll, and a glass of wine. Juno himself made my roll. He was very friendly and gladly subbed a piece of tuna on top of the roll for the spicy tuna that normally gets put inside. The roll was delicious and fresh with the exception of the seaweed wrap. It was chewy in parts. I'm looking forward to trying the sashimi next time. Juno's also does Hibachi and some Korean items. In addition to typical Japanese appetizers and soups/salads, other menu selections include Katsu, Donburi, Udon, Tempura dinners, and fried rice. I didn't know until I was leaving that I was being served by the owner. We chatted about a number of things. It was nice to interact with the sushi chef. I've been to many places where they aren't so personable.

Pretty good. A little on the "saucy" side but still tasty sushi. I had the volcano roll and my wife had the geisha roll. I preferred mine. We also had edamame egg drop soup and fried gyoza. All of it was pretty good.

I used to be a devoted customer of the place down the street... but I have a new fav in town! The sushi is made to perfection.... and the sashimi is the freshest in FWB (in my opinion). And by the way... at HALF the price of the other sushi places in FWB.

Low key but good sushi. Got the food out fast.
